“Here I raise my Ebeneezer, hither by thy help I’m come.”
1 Samuel 7:12

In the Old Testament, Samuel used a rock to mark a spot where God had helped him, calling it an ebeneezer. THIS “ebeneezer” was erected on October 19, 2003 to dedicate St. Paul’s newly purchased and renovated facility to the glory of God and the joy of all peoples, recognizing that God alone made it possible.

EDUCATION ON SUNDAYS

Children – 9:30 am

Nursery – a pleasant nursery is provided for all children from birth through age one, supervised by experienced and trained childcare professionals, assisted by volunteers from the congregation (Note—all of those who work with children of all ages are screened as part of our Child Protection First program.)

Twos and Threes – children of this age enjoy a play and story time during the Sunday School hour (9:30 am) during the Worship Service (11:00 am).

Graded Classes – for children Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5. Children are taught the truths of God’s Word using the Walk by Faith curriculum, published by Great Commission Publications.

Youth – 9:30 am

Middle and High School Youth – meet in the Youth Center, known as The Shed, for separate classes led by the youth leaders as well as special guests.

Adult Electives – 9:30 am

Adults are treated to a choice of three or four “elective courses” on a variety of subjects related to the Christian life. St.Paul’s is blessed with outstanding teachers who delve into topics of interest to all.

WORSHIP ON SUNDAYS

Worship - 11:00 am

While well-attended, we can always find room for a few more! This is a vibrant, yet warm service with much praise and exultation offered in the worship of our great God. Communion is served at this service on the 1st Sunday of each month. Children are invited and encouraged to participate in the worship service, but a Children’s Church is offered for children age four through Grade 1 during the service.

Evensong Communion Service - every 3rd Sunday (except June and July) at 6:00 pm

Evensong is a worship service in word and music at the onset of evening to mark the close of the day with gratitude, and to compose the mind and renew the spirit for the coming week. It is a time for quiet reflection and confession--a much loved service at SPPC.
